FREE WEBINAR:
Join us for a high-level webinar ahead of the Argentina Non-Ferrous & Precious Metals Congress 2025!
As Argentina strengthens its position in the global mining landscape, non-ferrous and precious metals play an increasingly pivotal role in attracting investment, driving innovation, and supporting regional development. In 2024, mining exports reached $3.611 billion, a 12.6% increase from the previous year, with gold exports leading the way at $2.429 billion. The country is also making strides in copper production, with a 93.6% increase in exploration investments, reaching $493.4 million. Several major copper projects are under development, positioning Argentina to become one of the world's leading copper producers by the early 2030s. The government has also introduced the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI) to attract international investors, offering tax incentives and streamlined project approvals. The precious metals market in Argentina was valued at $8.87 billion in 2024, with forecasts suggesting it will grow to $13.23 billion by 2030. These developments highlight Argentina's strategic push to strengthen its non-ferrous and precious metals industries and boost its position in global markets.
This free online session will provide valuable insights into modernization strategies, project expansions, and responsible mining practices shaping the future of gold, silver, copper, and other key metals in Argentina.
Mining remains a strategic pillar of Latin American economies. In Argentina, provinces such as San Juan, Salta, and Catamarca are leading a new wave of exploration and development, particularly in precious metals (gold, silver) and critical non-ferrous resources (copper, zinc, etc.).
With global demand on the rise and ESG standards reshaping the sector, modernization and responsible growth are no longer optional—they’re essential.
